Illusion Mesh is a great sheer material that overlays on top of something more solid.  You get a nice airy fashion style that is light but at the same time stretchy and comfortable.  Mesh is usually paired with a jersey or other stretch fabric.  Please note that mesh is made up of 1,000's of tiny holes and that printed mesh doesn't hold a crisp image until you put it over a solid that compliments it.  90% Nylon, 10% Spandex.
