This is an inspired version of the Once Upon a Dream dress Sleeping Beauty wears for the song Once Upon a Dream with Prince Phillip.  Also referred to as her peasant dress when she is masquerading as Briar Rose. 

The bodice is made of cotton with an elastic 3/4 length cuff to allow flexibility on the arm in a tan cotton with a white collar at the neck.  The 3/4 length sleeves also have a puffed cap for a princessy look. The corset is made from black velvet and lined.  The shirt and corset are attached but in a way that looks like they are two separate pieces.  This allows you to never have to tuck and push a shirt under the corset or have the bulk of sticking a bunch of fabric under the corset and adding inches to your waist.  Instead you get a very trim waistline and a simple one zipper zip at the back to pull it all together and have you looking thin!

The skirt is made of a beautiful grey cotton and is done as a double circle skirt on a waistband.  This is particularly key for the spin factor as seen in the fourth photo.  This dress has an amazing twirl factor.  The white petticoat seen is not included.  

The shawl is made from an eggplant purple cotton and is long enough to drap across the arms or over the head as shown.
