This is an inspired version of Wendy Darling from Peter Pan.  For a long time when I imagined Wendy flying off to Neverland in her nightgown, I felt there was a romantic sense in it.  In the cartoon her nightdress is plain and simple, but in bringing her to life I felt there needed to be a subtle elegance and beauty to her nightgown that was soft and delicate and yet kept the simplicity of her design.

The style of the nightgown was inspired by the early 1800's evening dresses but converted to a night dress application.  The loosely gathered neckline and waist was a direct inspiration for the top.

This costume is made with a beautiful flowing satin as an underlay that is soft to the touch and drapes elegantly.  Then it is covered in a top layer of your choice of holographic chiffon or plain chiffon.  This nightdress can be made in any color, in fact it is so elegant and comfortable I would want one of my own for my closet.  The neckline, waist, and sleeve cuffs have elastic bands for adjusting several sizes (for performers and cosplayers) as well as for comfort for any wearer.  The neckline has an elastic cord to adjust it in or out.  

The hemline can be adjusted as needed per each individual order. As shown it has a bit of a train so that it drapes on the floor, however we can adjust the hemline to be at floor length as well for easy walking around.

The ribbon belt is stitched at the front all the way to the side skirt seams so that it does not move and is loose at the back so that the elastic waist has flexability.
